We talk about his career and shifting with the times, and we really appreciated his insights on the state of publishing, and being lifelong storytellers. We hope you enjoy!

We are thrilled to visit with Ross Hecox about his career in equine media, which skyrocketed him to the Western Horseman editor position until he left Morris Media in 2022. Today, he’s back in the equine media realm with renewed vigor, not only writing and photographing stories, but with his own storytelling podcast, Cowboy Life,, which is produced by Too Tall Essick. Ross joins us to talk about how he moved from his fulltime media career to his current track, and how he not only reinvented how he pursues media, but reinvigorated his work.
